Samsung certainly does not avoid augmented reality, and includes it in a number of functions in its devices. Smartphones, for example, support augmented reality Galaxy Note 10 or Galaxy S10. Samsung is clearly serious about augmented reality, which is why it decided to dedicate a brand new section to it called "AR Zone". It is a place where users can find all the functions related to augmented reality together and from where they can get easy and immediate access to them.

For example, the AR Zone will also become part of the camera modes, where users will be able to easily and quickly use the Quick Measure function, for example. This function uses a ToF sensor, with the help of which it can calculate the length, area or depth of the selected object, captured by the smartphone camera, in real time. Until now, users could find the Quick Measure function in a folder with all other pre-installed applications from Samsung, but thanks to AR Zone, they will be able to launch it directly from the camera. In the same way, thanks to AR Zone, it will be possible to quickly launch the AR Doodle function for improving videos with the help of drawings and messages on the smartphone Galaxy Footnote 10.

AR Zone will also bring users the possibility of faster and easier access to functions such as AR Emoji Camera, My Emoji Studio or even Live Sticker. Although the mentioned functions are great, they have been rather chaotically distributed in the user interface of smartphones until now, and therefore many users had no idea that some of these functions existed. AR Zone is intended to help not only find all the functions associated with augmented reality easier, but also allow users to really use their smart phones to the fullest. Beta testers of One UI 2.0 have not yet reported the appearance of AR Zone, but it is possible that Samsung will officially introduce the function only with the arrival of Galaxy S11.
