At the end of last week, a report started circulating in the media and on social networks with the date of this year's Unpacked event, at which Samsung is to reveal its new products. The event will take place on February 11 in San Francisco. This date was originally leaked unofficially, but Samsung confirmed it this week. A video invitation was also released, which somewhat hints at which products we can look forward to at Unpacked.

According to available reports, Samsung may present several flagships among its smartphones at this year's Unpacked. It could be not only Samsung Galaxy S11 or Samsung Galaxy S20, but above all a completely new foldable smartphone. Apparently, it should have a flexible "clamshell" design, which Motorola Razr, for example, once boasted. According to some sources, this possibility is also indicated by the shapes that we can see in the mentioned video - a rectangle and a square, replacing the logo Galaxy the letters "A". While the rectangle is said to symbolize the foldable smartphone in its open state, the square could be a symbol of the shape of the smartphone's rear camera. However, it is equally likely that the mentioned shapes symbolize something completely different, and may be related, for example, to the new functions of the upcoming smartphones of the series Galaxy S.

The smartphones, presented at this year's Unpacked event, should be characterized by 5G connectivity, new functions and significantly improved cameras. Samsung did relatively well in the smartphone market (and not only) last year, and analysts predict further growth for this year as well. Not only the mentioned new folding smartphone could be successful, but also smartphones with 5G connectivity. We will of course keep you informed about the news from Unpacked.
