At CES 2020, Western Digital introduced its new innovative products represented by a wide range of data storage solutions, including the introduction of a prototype - the industry's first SSD pocket external drive - with the world's highest capacity and SuperSpeed USB 20 Gbps interface. The company also introduced the 1TB SanDisk Ultra flash drive® Dual Drive Luxe USB Type-C™ designed for smartphones and laptops.

Prototype of the groundbreaking SanDisk 8 TB external SSD
Western Digital continues its tradition of breaking milestones in new technologies and presented a pocket-sized external SSD drive with the world's highest capacity and SuperSpeed USB 20 Gbps interface at the fair. Inspired by users' need to capture and store rich content and keep it with them, WD continues to push the boundaries of what's possible with the 8TB portable SSD prototype. Western Digital combines its experience with flash memory and smart design to develop revolutionary solutions that not only keep up with user needs, but even exceed them. Western Digital also presented a wide range of portable SSD drives currently available on the market.
Brand new SanDisk 1TB flash drive Incredibly ® Dual Drive Luxe USB Type-C
The SanDisk brand also presented its latest flash drive with dual USB connectors, which works with smartphones and laptops with a USB Type-C interface. High capacity in an all-metal body will allow users to take and capture more photos and videos and easily transfer this digital content between USB Type-C smartphones, tablets and notebooks and USB Type-A computers. The design solution allows you to attach the flash drive to a key ring and offers a huge capacity in a small size. Users can thus have additional storage capacity with them wherever they need it. New 1TB SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Luxe USB Type-C will be available during this year.
