A lot has already been written about the upcoming foldable smartphone from Samsung, which should be presented shortly at this year's Unpacked. In addition to other media, the news that the device will be equipped with a 108MP rear camera has been circulating for quite some time - Bloomberg even came up with this news some time ago. However, according to recent information, everything may be different in the end.

A leaker with the nickname @ishanagrawal24 recently posted that the upcoming Galaxy The Z Flip should eventually feature a 12MP camera, which could theoretically be the same as the one found on Samsung Galaxy Note 10. But that doesn't mean that there wasn't an iota of truth in the previous rumors about the 108MP camera - after all, these are unofficial details that can easily change at any time during the development and preparation of the given device. But a version with a 12MP camera makes more sense given that Galaxy The Z Flip should be among the less expensive foldable smartphones, which always necessarily involves certain compromises on many fronts.

Samsung's "low-cost" foldable smarpthon is further rumored to have 256GB of internal storage (128GB was originally speculated), black and purple color variants (some sources say white and gray variants), and a 6,7-inch display. The mentioned leaker specified in his tweet that the smartphone should be equipped with an AMOLED display, a 10MP front camera and a battery with a capacity of either 3300 mAH or 3500 mAH.

Smartphone Galaxy Z Flip, along with a number of other novelties from Samsung, should be officially presented at the Unpacked event, which is scheduled for February 11.
