Owners of Samsung series smartphones Galaxy The S20 can look forward to further improvements in camera functions. Samsung has released a software update for both Exynos and Snapdragon models. The latest firmware update is G98xxXXU2ATE6. This is the second update in a row, and it includes, among other things, the May security patch.

The update is for models Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+ and Galaxy S20 Ultra. Samsung did not specify in any way what the improvements to the camera consist of. However, users of the discussion site Reddit report a noticeably better quality of photos that were taken in night mode. There is also speculation about a possible further improvement in autofocus. In addition to improving camera features, it brings software updates for Samsung Galaxy S20, S20+ and S20 Ultra also new option to set the fingerprint scanning function. They now include the option to deactivate the animation on the display that accompanies unlocking the smartphone with a fingerprint. However, according to users, deactivating this function has no effect on the performance, throughput or speed of the reader - it is simply another part of customizing the appearance of the phone's user interface. Users can disable the animated effect when unlocking the smartphone in the settings in the biometrics section.

The software update is available in the form of OTA, users can also try to install it in the software update menu in the settings of their smartphones.
