Have you always wanted to watch the game in the garden by the pool? Thanks to the new TV from Samsung, this is now possible. Let's take a closer look at the news.

Samsung introduces Terrace TV, 4K television set with a convenient name for outdoor use. Thanks to the IP55 certificate, there is no need to worry about water or dust. The device can easily withstand a weak stream of water (6,3mm), so if you keep the Terrace under a roof, it should withstand the rain without any problems. The TV is functional at temperatures from -30 to +50°C, which makes it possible to use it at any time. You can also purchase a Terrace soundbar for the TV, which also meets IP55 protection.

One might argue that nothing can be seen on TV outside in the sun. However, this is not the case with Terrace TV, because the QLED technology ensures an above-standard brightness of up to 2000 nits and, in combination with the anti-reflective layer of the screen, offers a spectacle as if you were indoors.

Terrace falls into the Smart TV category, so it naturally offers a lot of goodies. Clear proof that this is an intelligent TV is the 4K AI Upscaling technology, which uses artificial intelligence to "calculate" the image and thus ensure, together with the 120Hz refresh rate, a high-quality display of each broadcast. Another interesting feature is undoubtedly Tap View, thanks to which you just need to touch the TV with a supported smartphone and it will start to mirror the contents of the phone. The MultiView function ensures that you can watch the image from the TV and mobile device at the same time on Terrace TV. There is also support for voice control using Bixby, Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. The TV can also be controlled by voice via the included remote control, which meets IP56 protection and is thus also resistant to water and dust.

Terrace TV is available in 55, 65 and 75 inch diagonals (ie 140, 165 and 190 cm) in the USA and Canada at a price of $3,455 (approx. CZK 86), $000 (approx. CZK 4) and $999 (approx. 125 000 CZK). Later, this TV will also be available in New Zealand, Australia or Germany. Other markets will follow later this year. Unfortunately we don't have it yet informace, whether the Czech one will be among them.
