Many years have passed since we could replace the battery on Samsung phones. The last flagship with a detachable back cover was the model Galaxy S5. However, it is unlikely that we will see replaceable batteries in the flagship model, but this issue could concern smartphones from lower classes. A photo of a new battery from the South Korean company's workshop has appeared on the Internet, triggering a wave of speculation.

From the picture, which you can find in the gallery of the article, it is clear that this is a replaceable cell with a capacity of 3000mAh and the designation EB-BA013ABY. According to the SamMobile server, this battery should belong to an as yet unannounced device with the model code SM-A013F. The phone has been found to offer 16 or 32GB of storage and will be available in Europe and Asia in black, blue and red colors. Unfortunately, according to the model code, it is not possible to determine to which series of smartphones of the South Korean company this device will belong.

The only smartphone with a removable battery that Samsung currently offers is Galaxy Xcover. This series is aimed more at outdoor users and is only available in a limited number of markets. This could change with the arrival of the mentioned upcoming device, its availability could be considerably greater.
