Samsung unveiled the Odyssey G7 gaming monitors at this year's CES in January, and today the South Korean company announced that the monitors will go on sale this month.

Already at first glance, we notice the curvature of the screen, which, according to Samsung, corresponds to the shape of the eye and reaches an extraordinary value of 1000R (i.e. a radius of curvature of 1000mm). Most often, curved monitors have a curvature of 1800R, to be precise - the smaller the radius of curvature, the greater the curvature of the monitor itself.

Odyssey G7 offers 27 or 32 inch QLED displays with WQHD (2560x1440px) resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio and a response time of just one second. The 240Hz refresh rate together with G-Sync compatibility and Free-Sync Premium Pro support ensure smooth, stutter-free images. Thanks to HDR600 certification and 350cd/m2 brightness, every detail will always be perfectly rendered.

The modern, dark design of the Odyssey G7 series will also please you, the most striking element is located on the back of the monitors. This is adjustable Core Lightning lighting that underlines the overall experience whether you decide to place the monitor on the wall or on the included stand. On the bottom of both models we find two DisplayPorts, one HDMI 2.0 port and three USB version 3 ports.

We do not know the exact prices of the Odyssey G7 monitors for now, but we can at least get an idea according to the price list published in South Korea. Customers there will pay KRW 27 (approx. CZK 800) for the 000″ model and KRW 16 (approx. CZK 000) for the 32″ version. The Odyssey G900 series is already listed, for example Alza.cz, where we can track prices and availability together.
