Partnerships between well-known companies are not at all unusual these days. Some connections of this type of user will delight, while others are rather embarrassing. Could you imagine Samsung and Huawei joining forces in business? One might assume that the South Korean giant would be rejoicing in the complications that Huawei has had to face in the United States for some time. But now there is more speculation that Samsung could theoretically throw a lifeline to its Chinese competitor.

This could take the form of chips that Samsung could start making for Huawei. Specifically, it should be chips for 5G base stations, which Huawei produces in hundreds of thousands of units. Samsung manufactures its chipsets using the 7nm process on special lithography machines that come from the Dutch company ASL. Therefore, it does not involve American technologies in production, and therefore it can become a supplier of chips for Huawei. But it won't be free - sources close to the aforementioned companies say that Samsung could, among other things, require Huawei to give up part of its share of the smartphone market. It is not yet clear how concretely this theoretical agreement could be put into practice, but it is not an entirely improbable scenario. For Huawei, such an agreement could represent a great opportunity to improve activities in the field of telecommunications, even at the expense of income from the sale of smartphones.
