Samsung still dominates the OLED display market, whether it's phones, smart watches or tablets. Displays are not only used in Samsung devices, but also, for example, in Apple or OnePlus. Earlier, however, there was speculation about the fact that the series for cheaper phones Galaxy will Samsung use OLED displays from Chinese manufacturers. We have now received new information on this topic. The first phone should be Samsung Galaxy M41 to be used by CSOT's display.

CSOT stands for China Star Optoelectronics Technology, which may not tell you anything. Anyway, it is a subsidiary of TCL, which is a fairly successful Chinese electronics manufacturer. Samsung was originally planning to use displays from BOE, but was not satisfied with the quality that was shown. Because of this, BOE probably came to supply displays to the flagship model Galaxy S21. It is also quite possible that the display of the basic version Galaxy S21 will be procured by CSOT.

In recent months, CSOT has been talked about in conjunction with Xiaomi and Motorola. CSOT displays are used in the Mi 10 flagship model as well as in the Moto Edge series phones. About the phone itself Galaxy We don't know much about the M41 for now. Earlier this year, renders were leaked showing a flat display, a punch hole in the upper left corner and a fingerprint reader on the back. However, the phone has not been talked about at all lately. "Leakers" mainly focus on Galaxy Notes 20, Galaxy Fold 2 a Galaxy Tab S7, which are the main Samsung products for the second half of this year.
