The days when Adobe Flash was used to play videos or play games are long gone. Even directly the system Android once supported Flash. However, developers have switched to competing solutions such as HTML5, which is not as demanding on device performance and also has higher security. Adobe directly announced the end of Flash support back in 2017. Now the complete end of Adobe Flash has been announced.

The complete shutdown will take place on December 31, 2020. From that day on, we will no longer see any security patches, Adobe will no longer be able to download Flash Player, and Adobe will prompt you to uninstall Flash Player if you happen to still have it installed on your computer. Adobe will also remove the ability to manually load the Flash module in browsers, through which you can now play content.

From the point of view of everyday Internet use, not much will change, as the vast majority of websites have long since switched to non-Flash technologies. However, sometimes you may come across, for example, a widget or a video that needs Flash to work. Last but not least, various websites that offer flash games will stop working. Do you use a Flash application or game? Show off in the comments.
