Samsung phone situation Galaxy M41 gets complicated again. The first speculations about this model appeared a year ago. Since then, however, it has been quiet. That only changed earlier this week when it was rumored that Galaxy The M41 will be Samsung's first phone to use a Chinese OLED display from CSOT. However, today there are reports from South Korea that the phone has been canceled completely.

The reason for the complete cancellation should be the phone's display. The Chinese company CSOT (China Star Optoelectronics Technology) was not supposed to meet Samsung's standard that it set for OLED displays. This is very interesting informace, because earlier Samsung had to reject the displays of another Chinese company, more specifically it was BOE, which was supposed to prepare an OLED display for the basic version of the phone Galaxy S21.

Because of Galaxy The M41 lost its display supplier, should Samsung have decided to cancel the entire phone completely. If he were to equip it with his own OLED display, it would no longer be economically viable. Instead, Samsung is supposed to focus on the phone Galaxy M51, which is supposed to be based on the more expensive Galaxy A51.

It will be interesting to see how Samsung resolves the display issues in the coming months. Samsung's OLED displays are generally considered the best, but they aren't exactly cheap. Samsung has been looking for a Chinese manufacturer for a long time to offer cheaper displays for more affordable devices.
