Samsung Display is gradually preparing to move the production of its computer monitors to Vietnam. Production should take place at the Samsung Electronics HCMC CE Complex facility. According to available reports, all of Samsung's LCD panel production plants in China and South Korea are expected to be closed by the end of this year, making Vietnam the world's leading supplier of Samsung brand computer monitors.

Samsung plans to stop making its computer displays in most other countries, gradually moving all production to Vietnam. The transfer should be successfully completed by the end of this year. According to local media, the production of more than forty products, the development of which is currently taking place under the wings of Samsung Display, will take place in Vietnam. Production in Vietnam will also offer certain advantages to local consumers who, thanks to local production, will be able to take advantage of lower prices from next year and at the same time be among the first to see new products put on sale. The fact that the process of moving production is in full swing is evidenced by, among other things, the fact that hundreds of Samsung Display employees have been allowed to fly to Vietnam over the past few months, despite the measures and restrictions related to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Samsung announced earlier this month that it is launching new Odyssey G7 gaming monitors with an extraordinary curve. QLED displays with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels have an aspect ratio of 16:9, a response time of one second and a refresh rate of 240Hz.
