Google has already updated most of its mobile apps and added dark mode support to them. Now it has finally reached the office suite of Documents, Tables and Presentation applications. An update for these apps will be available in the coming weeks.

The dark mode for these apps was first reported by 9to5google, who noticed mentions in the code after the last update of the apps. Some users have even managed to activate the dark mode. Thanks to this, we know that the office suite from Google will support classic switching, in which users will be able to choose between light mode, dark mode and automatic change according to the system.

The function will certainly come in handy also because the competing suite of office applications from Microsoft does not support na Androidu dark mode. This gives Google a smaller advantage. Microsoft announced dark mode support last year, but it is still not available. The only exception is Microsoft Outlook. For example, you won't find anything similar in Word and you have to settle for the classic look of the application.
