When the series phones are released Galaxy S20, some of you may still remember the case with greenish displays. Fortunately, this was a problem that was fixed with the release of a quick update. However, according to the latest information, the problem with the greenish display is returning. Although for older phones of the series Galaxy With a Galaxy Notes.
People from Europe, USA and India are reporting problems with the displays. What most posts have in common is that the problems started after the last update that came out on Galaxy Notes 8, Galaxy Notes 9, Galaxy S9, Galaxy Note 10 Lite and Galaxy S10 Lite. Some users have already received the June update, but the problem is said to persist. Samsung has not yet commented on the problem, but given the increasing number of complaints, it won't be long before we get an official statement that hopefully promises a quick fix.
The tinge of green color mainly appears when the display brightness is set lower and is said to not always appear. It is quite possible that this is an identical problem that has already appeared in the series this year Galaxy S20. If this is confirmed, then just an update should be enough to fix the problem. That it should be a software bug is also indicated by the fact that users started reporting it only after the release of a recent update. As soon as new problems appear for this informace, we'll be sure to keep you posted. You also have a greenish screen problem with yours Galaxy phone? Let us know in the comments.
My S10+ display also turned green today. But I think I can blame myself for that. I changed the repracks in it, and I glued it back. I washed it a little yesterday, and I think water got into it, because I felt numb to the touch almost all day. Until I took it apart again and dried it. But the green color remained.
Yes I have this problem. At first, the greening appeared sporadically, but now it has remained permanent. Unfortunately, the update did not help, exactly as you write. I don't understand why there hasn't been a fix for a long time, or why they won't return the option of the original FW version.
Yes, I've also been "struggling" with it on the S9+ for about a month now.. after the last update it worked for about 14 days now in August, now it's green again.. 🙁 Is there somewhere to report a bug to Samsung?
Galaxy Note 9, bought 2018 and the display started turning green now in January 2022. The worst thing is that the phone "cuts" before it "turns green" and does not work. And the greening is now taking longer and longer 🙁 Any advice? Thanks.
Same problem as Zuzana. 4 year old Note 9, started turning green yesterday, cannot be controlled at all. It did get better after the factory reset, but it's back after a while. If the brightness of the display is set to max, then it is not wrong, but it is not a fix.
What about Samsung?
I got it GALAXY NOTE 9 and my green display started around February 2022. It happens sporadically several times a day. The new update in April didn't help. The manufacturer should do something about it.
I have an S9+ and the green screen has been happening for about three months now. When I unlock the phone, the display works normally for an unlimited time, but if I lock and unlock it, it turns green. If I have the auto brightness set, it's almost black. After lighting or in the sun, it lights up and is greenish. If I lower the brightness, the display almost goes black and is unreadable. If I leave it locked for a while and unlock it, it works normally again
Hi, I have a Samsung galaxy s10 and I also have a green image, but the green light is almost always, I don't know what stim is, I didn't find anything, I will be happy for any help. Thank you
I have the same thing, when I raise the brightness it goes back to normal. Is there a factory reset solution or something?
