TCL X91: an endless flood of details. New powerful visual experiences
With the X91 product line, TCL introduces its customers to the world of 8K resolution. The new product line offers an incredible number of pixels, optimized like never before. The 8K resolution of the TCL X91 series is four times higher than 4K UHD TVs, and sixteen times higher than Full HD TVs. The 8K resolution has a format of 7 x 680 pixels, resulting in more than 4 million pixels (320 million). Users now get a sharper image with more detail. The X33 33,18K QLED TV has pixels so small that they are not visible even when zoomed in, and therefore can convey a detailed image of the real world.
In 2020, there are still not many movies and digital content in 8K. For this reason, TCL brings upscaling technology that can move video and photos in HD, FHD and 4K resolution to 8K resolution. For non-8K digital content, the upscaling technology together with artificial intelligence can automatically optimize each pixel to 8K, and the result is comparable in every way to 8K. TCL 8K AI Upscaling technology results in more detailed and natural video and photos. It recalculates not just one aspect of the display, but the entire spectrum of specifications, such as brightness, color compensation, detail compensation, and display frequency.
