The last few days have been marked by leaks of new watches from Samsung called Galaxy Watch 3, which you have already read about with us yesterday. In addition to the technical specifications, we are of course also interested in the system, about which not much was known until now. But Max Weinbach looked at the firmware and revealed the news that awaits us with the arrival of a new generation of watches from the South Korean company.

The "Informative Digital Edge" function, for example, will allow the user to display on the edge of the dials informace about steps taken, weather, heart rate and so on, which is certainly a welcome step forward. The big change will probably happen in the Weather app, as it will reportedly change the wallpaper based on the weather in the place where you are. In the United States, the watch should have Outlook and Spotify pre-installed, and in South Korea, the Samsung Health Monitor. Both variants of the watch should of course have a speaker and NFC.

The watch should be available in two variants, namely 1,4″ (45mm) and 1,2″ (41mm). An OLED display is a matter of course. Galaxy Watch 3 could arrive in silver, black (titanium) and bronze with titanium, bronze and black leather straps. The larger model should have a battery capacity of 340 mAh, the smaller one 247 mAh. The storage of the watch will be 8 GB, with a decent 5,3 GB available to the user. The reveal should take place on August 21. So the question mark hangs over the price.
