According to reports, Samsung could resort to shipping some of its smartphones without chargers from next year. Similar speculations are now circulating iu competitor Apple, however, before we start cursing, we need to think.
Each of us surely has several chargers at home. I don't know about you, but I have at least four of all kinds of devices everywhere, a lot of cables. The fact that many users use the option of wireless charging should also be added to this. This Samsung solution could have a good impact for users as well. Considering the fact that the South Korean giant ships hundreds of millions of smartphones annually, eliminating the charger, even for some devices, would reduce costs, which could affect the final price of that smartphone. In the box, the customer would probably find "only" a USB-C cable, headphones and a smartphone. However, this step would probably also have a "higher meaning". Recently, there has been a lot of speculation about what to do with e-waste, which is increasingly abundant and rather complicated and expensive to fight against. Of course, Samsung would not stop selling chargers. If the user lost it, there would be no problem to buy a new one. How do you feel about this intended step?
