To the application Rakuten Viber great news is coming. Users will now be able to respond to messages in Communities using different emoticons. In line with the growing popularity of communication applications around the world, Viber also expands the possibilities of creative expression of its users so that they can express themselves as naturally and accurately as possible.
As part of World Emoji Day, which is July 17th every year, Viber asked its users which emoticons are their favorite. They could choose from these five – like, lol, surprised, sad or angry (💜, 😆, 😲, 😢, 😡). Czech users chose LOL 😆 as their favorite. More than 2 people participated in the poll and 000% voted for the LOL smiley.
To respond to a message, just long click on the heart icon and choose how to respond to the message. And since communication always works between two parties, users have the opportunity to see how others reacted to a message in the Community. Just long click on the message and informace about other members' reactions.
"Viber aims to allow users to express themselves as precisely as they want. Being able to respond to a message with just a heart isn't enough because it doesn't express all the possible emotions that users feel. Reacting to messages will allow you to express yourself better and more accurately," said Ofir Eyal, COO at Viber.
