There is only a week left until the presentation of the Note 20 series, and new and new speculations appear every day, not only about this upcoming hardware novelty. As you probably know, the device will arrive in different markets with different chips, namely Snapdragon 865+ and Exynos 990, which we will most likely see here. According to the latest reports, the Exynos 990 chip that also powers the S20 series has been optimized and improved to better keep up with the Snapdragon 865+.

When Samsung launched the S20 series with the Snapdragon 865 and Exynos 990 chips in the spring, the difference in performance was noticeable, for which the tech giant drew a fair amount of criticism. Although at first glance it may seem that the performance difference will be even greater due to the use of a newer version of Snapdragon, this may not be true. Some sources claim that the Exynos 990 has been upgraded to match the "plus" version of the 865. According to the source, the South Korean company will basically equip the Note 20 series with the Exynos 990+, but this chip will not be called that. This should please anyone, as the version with Snapdragon is said to be headed only to the United States. However, this is only unverified information and we will have to wait a while for the benchmarks. In any case, given the spring criticism, it would be appropriate for Samsung to work on its chips. We will be wiser soon.
