Today, at its annual Unpacke event, Samsung presented a number of its new products - including models Galaxy Note20 a Galaxy Note20 Ultra. Successors of smartphones from last year's product line Galaxy The Note 10 boasts an interesting design and great features - let's take a closer look at them.

Design

Samsung Galaxy The Note20 features an elegant design with rounded corners and a flat display, while the edges of the larger Galaxy The Note20 Ultra 5G is slightly sharper with a slightly rounded display. The lower part is used to store the S Pen, the center of the upper part of the display is equipped with a hole for the selfie camera. Model Galaxy Note20 will be available in grey, green and bronze, Note20 Ultra 5G in gray and bronze.

Samsung Galaxy The Note20 is equipped with a 6,7-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1800 pixels and a refresh rate of 60Hz, while the Note20 Ultra 5G has a large 6,9-inch display with a resolution of 3088 x 1440 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. Gorilla Glass 5 was used for the display of the base model, while Gorilla Glass 20 is used for the Note5 Ultra 7G.

Hardware

In terms of performance, both models will be equipped with an octa-core Exynos 990 processor clocked at up to 2,73 GHz, while consumers in the United States will get phones equipped with Snapdragon 865+ chips. The Note20 model will be equipped with 8GB of RAM, the Note20 Ultra 5G with 12GB of RAM. As for storage, it will Galaxy Note20 available in 256GB version, Note20 Ultra 5G then 256GB and 512GB version with the possibility of expansion up to 1TB with the help of a microSD card. The Note20 will be powered by a 4300 mAh battery, while the Note20 Ultra 5G will have a 4500 mAh battery. It goes without saying that it supports fast 25 W charging via the USB-C connector and supports wireless 15 W charging. Users can also look forward to the reverse charging function. The phones are equipped with AKG stereo speakers, the Note20 offers support for Dolby Atmos surround sound. Both models offer IP68 water resistance, are equipped with an ultrasonic fingerprint reader under the display and Galaxy The Note20 Ultra offers 5G connectivity. Both phones support all WiFi bands and the NFC function, for example for phone payments.

Camera

Cameras have long been among the heavily speculated components of Samsung's upcoming smartphones. We now know that the base Note20 will feature a 12MP wide-angle lens, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens for 120° shots, and a 64MP telephoto lens with up to three times lossless zoom. AT Galaxy The Note20 Ultra 5G has a 108MP sensor with laser focus, a 12MP telephoto lens with a five-fold zoom option, and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens. Both models are equipped with the same 10MP front selfie camera.
