Although the coronavirus pandemic has slowed down the smartphone market somewhat and slowed down its growth, even to negative numbers for many manufacturers, there is no need to throw away the flint right away. According to the analysis company Canalys, the spread of the virus caused a greater demand and interest in tablets, which offer a larger display and a more friendly user interface intended for work. For example, in China this is how iPads were bought in bulk, and it is no different in the West. All five leading manufacturers of portable devices experienced sharp growth, and one of the main winners in this regard was Samsung, in which case there was a 39.2% growth.

Together, the entire market grew by a respectable 26%, which is the best result in the last few years. According to analyst Ben Stanton, operators in the United States have also adapted to the situation, offering favorable tariffs, extra data packages and, above all, various promotions, thanks to which customers could get tablets for a fraction of the price. After all, working from home has become the alpha and omega of today's world, which quickly reflected in sales and consumer sentiment. In addition, experts estimate that the trend will continue for quite a long time and as long as the risk of a pandemic continues, there is a good chance that Samsung, Apple even Huawei will enjoy unprecedented astronomical growth.
