It's only been a few days since the long-awaited and anticipated Samsung Unpacked conference took place, where the South Korean manufacturer announced a number of new additions to its portfolio. Although the stage was mainly occupied by models Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra, smart watches also received attention Galaxy Watch 3 that came with a host of brand new features and improvements that fans have been clamoring for for quite some time. And since Samsung is serious about its software support, as the company expressed during the presentation, it decided to please customers with some icing on the cake in the form of a special update that will be only 80MB.

This will include VO2 Max functions, i.e. the maximum volume of oxygen in the lungs, and monitoring of the oxygen content in the blood. This should make it easier for athletes in particular who are training for demanding competitions and their health is a top priority. Although countries such as Japan, Thailand and Canada will not see the second mentioned function for the time being, it is still a pleasant surprise that will surely please many fans. At the same time, the update will also include better analysis of your running performance and, above all, sleep monitoring, when the watch itself will alert you that something is wrong. In the foreseeable future, there will also be blood pressure and ECG detection, but in this case, Samsung is still waiting for permission from the relevant authorities. We'll see what else the South Korean tech giant comes up with.
