Unlike its competitors, the South Korean does not save during the crisis, but tries to take advantage of the moment and expand as much as possible. In addition to a whole series of acquisitions, the company has embarked on another bold project that will help the manufacturer significantly outpace other companies and secure market dominance. This is to be achieved with the help of the construction of the third factory in South Korea, which is to ensure the production and permanent production of energy-efficient chips and processors. And it is not surprising that Samsung is entering this segment, as the lack of production capacity caused the collapse of the agreement with Qualcomm, which requested the massive production of chips from the South Korean giant.

Although one could argue that this is mere speculation, the construction site in Pyongtaek, South Korea speaks for itself. Samsung literally prepared the ground for the construction already in June and requested permission from the relevant authorities, which did not hesitate to confirm the requested request. According to the plans, the construction will start as early as next month, i.e. in September, when it will start at full speed. And apparently it will not be a cheap matter, as Samsung intends to spend 30 trillion Korean won, which is 25.2 billion dollars, for the gigantic construction. The complex, named P3, is thus intended to help cover demand and above all to ensure a constant supply of new chips. So far, it will be the largest factory ever, and in the future, the South Korean giant plans to build 3 more similar-sized buildings.
