Every era ends once. It has been rumored for some time now that the arm of Samsung in the form of Samsung Display will end the production of LCD panels by the end of this year. Apparently, in connection with this expectation, the company began to move its employees from this division to other places.

Interestingly, Samsung Display has not transferred manpower to QD-LED or QNED production lines. Instead, around 200 employees were sent to a sister company that makes chips. Others were then assigned to Samsung Biologics. So this is another confirmation that Samsung wants to become the number one in the field of mobile chip production in the future. Sometime last year, Samsung announced this intention, backing up its words with a promise to invest $115 billion in the development of logic chips. Another point towards this goal is the construction of a new factory, which the South Korean technology giant is also slowly approaching. The construction of the P3 factory in Gyeonggi Province is supposed to start next month. Sources directly from Samsung claim that it will be a semiconductor factory that will "spew out" DRAM, NAND chips, processors and image sensors. As for Samsung Display, a few months ago the company had a "farewell" with LCD displays, as the demand for LCD monitors increased significantly. But it seems to be falling again.
