Samsung has started rolling out its own since last week One UI 2.5 extensions. Owners of smartphones of the product line were among the first to receive the aforementioned graphic superstructure update Galaxy S20. The update could be downloaded traditionally over-the-air - initially only in a few European countries, gradually also in the rest of the world.

Firmware with One UI 2.5 graphic interface update, designed for Samsung series smartphones Galaxy S20, bears the designation G98xxXXU4BTH5 (for Galaxy S20), G98xxXXU4BTH5 (for Galaxy S20+) and G988BXXU4BTH5 (for Galaxy S20 Ultra). If you own a series smart phone Galaxy S20 and you have not yet received a notification about the update, you can try to wait a little longer, or check the availability of the update manually in the settings of your smartphone. The update is available for the mentioned models with both LTE and 5G connectivity.

The One UI 2.5 graphic superstructure offers support for gestures from the operating system Android 10 with the possibility of expansion to third-party launchers, the possibility of wireless use of the Samsung DeX environment or a number of functions known, for example, from the environment of smartphones of the product line Galaxy Note 20 (except those that require the use of the S Pen). Other news included in One UI 2.5 include Single Take customization, improved Pro Video mode, support for Bitmoji stickers on Always On displays, support for Spit Keyboard in landscape orientation, and more. The One UI 2.5 graphics superstructure will also be available for models of the product line Galaxy S10, Galaxy S9, Galaxy Note 10, and of course also Galaxy From Flip a Galaxy Fold.
