Samsung Electronics today unveiled its new 4K short-throw laser projector at the Life Unstoppable virtual conference. The projector is called The Premiere, and thanks to it, everyone can enjoy a real cinema experience without leaving the comfort of their own living room - and it doesn't even need a TV.

The Premiere model is a new addition to Samsung's successful line of lifestyle products. Samsung will begin selling the Premiere globally in the coming months, starting with consumers in the United States, followed by customers in Europe and Korea, and then other regions. The Premiere projector will be available in versions with a maximum diagonal of 120 and 130 inches (305 and 330 cm) labeled LSP9T and LSP7T, both with laser technology and 4K resolution. It is the first projector with HDR10+ support and triple laser technology, resulting in revolutionary contrast with a maximum brightness of 2800 ANSI lumens. Both models support the Filmmaker mode, in which the image corresponds to the original ideas of the authors. The smart projector is also equipped with the Samsung Smart TV platform, thanks to which it will be possible to stream video from most partner services without any problems.

There is also connection to mobile devices using Tap View and mirroring technology. The Premiere projector will be available in a compact, space-saving design, so it will fit into all types of living rooms. It has an extremely short projection distance, so it can be placed close to the wall it projects onto. Other advantages include easy adjustment and a modern fabric finish. A powerful built-in bass woofer ensures high-quality sound, Acoustic Beam surround sound support is also available, so the "cinema-like" experience is amplified even more. In smaller rooms, there is no need to invest in additional sound equipment. There are no details yet on availability in the Czech and Slovak Republics informace, but the details will certainly not be long in coming.
