Samsung has started distributing its September software security update (not only) for smartphones of the product line during this week Galaxy S9. The update is available for Samsung device owners Galaxy S9 to Galaxy S9+, but it turned out that the One UI 2.5 graphics superstructure is not part of the update.

The September software security firmware update is labeled G96xFXXSBETH2 and users can download it as usual in their smartphone's settings under the software updates section. The update is currently available in a few selected regions, and over time the company will also expand it to other countries around the world. This is a purely security update that fixes several relevant bugs.

However, the absence of the One UI 2.5 graphic superstructure in the mentioned update does not mean that the owners of the respective models will never see it - they will just have to wait a little longer. According to available reports, Samsung is currently intensively testing the One UI 2.5 superstructure for the mentioned models, but it is not yet clear which functions will be available for them. Samsung smartphones Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9+ and Galaxy Note 9 will not be compatible with the operating system Android 11 and One UI 3.0 graphic superstructure.
