Samsung is canceling its developer conference for the first time in five years. The South Korean giant confirmed today that it has decided to cancel the event due to concerns about the disease COVID-19. In its official statement, Samsung expressed disappointment that this year's conference will not take place. "Our top priority is the health and safety of our employees, developer community, partners and local communities," it says in the said statement. In its report, Samsung did not mention any other reasons that led it to cancel the Samsung Developer Conference 2020, but according to some sources, there are actually more reasons.
