Commercial message: If you are a fan of game consoles from Microsoft, you very likely have today circled in your calendars with a really big circle. A few seconds ago, pre-orders for the next-gen consoles from the Redmond giant's workshop officially started in the form of the Xbox Series S and X. So if you're cutting your teeth on them, now is the perfect time to secure them.

While Sony bet on its PlayStation 5 "only" on one performance option, which it offers in versions with and without an optical drive, Microsoft went a different way. There are actually two next-gen consoles, one (Series S) offers lower performance, a different design and a significantly more attractive price, and the other (Series X) is literally the flagship of the console market. However, with both you can look forward to, for example, the deployment of an SSD disk, thanks to which the loading time of all games will be significantly reduced. For the Xbox Series X, some games will be created thanks to its brutal performance, which surpasses even the PlayStation 5, exclusively for it.

The great thing about the Series consoles is that they are compatible with games from previous generations of Xbox - in the case of the One version, it offers full compatibility, and in the case of the original Xbox and the 360 model, then for games that support backward compatibility, of which there are also a huge number. So you definitely don't have to worry about not having anything to play after the release of the next-gens. The opposite is true - due to the fact that for some older games from the One model, the developers have promised improvements for next-gen Xboxes. For example, the iconic The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt can be mentioned.

So if you want to treat yourself to the new Xbox Series S or X, today is the perfect time to pre-order. It can be expected that there will be huge interest in them, so whoever pre-orders first will get it first. As for prices, Microsoft charges 7 crowns for the Series S model, and 999 crowns for the more powerful Series X. Both consoles will officially go on sale on Tuesday, November 13.
