A benchmark of a Samsung phone has leaked into the air Galaxy S21 Plus, the middle model of the next flagship series Samsung Galaxy S21 (or Galaxy S30; the official name is unknown at this time). In the popular Geekbench 5 benchmark, it scored a very solid 1038 in the single-core test and 3060 in the multi-threaded test.

According to the benchmark data, the phone is powered by the Exynos 2100 chipset, which is so far unofficial informace related to this series they did not mention. However, this chip is most likely manufactured using the same 5nm process as Apple's new A14 chipset and the upcoming Snapdragon 875.

The benchmark further states that the smartphone has 8 GB of RAM and that the peak speed of the chip's processor cores is a high 2,2 GHz (however, it is possible that this is an early engineering sample and the final speed will be slightly lower).

Galaxy One more piece of news concerns the S21 Plus (S30 Plus) – an image from a Korean certification agency has leaked onto the internet, confirming that the device will have a 4800 mAh battery, as has been speculated for some time (at Galaxy S20 Plus it is 300 mAh less). You can also see the battery capacity of the other models of the future series, which, however, will not please many - it is exactly the same as its predecessors, i.e. 4000 mAh (Galaxy S21) and 5000 mAh (S21 Ultra). However, since they will be powered by new chips with more efficient power management, this might not be a problem.
