A month ago – earlier than expected compared to previous years – Samsung released for its flagship series Galaxy S20 developer beta version of the One UI 3.0 user interface, built on Androidu 11. Now the South Korean technology giant has confirmed that series users will soon get an open beta version of the superstructure.

Those interested can sign up for the beta via the Samsung Members app, which will later feature a download link and an official launch date. If you don't have the app installed, you can download it here.

At the moment, the "coming soon" announcement only applies to users in South Korea, but the beta is expected to open up to users in the US, Germany, or India not long after. A similar program should be available on the series phones in the future Galaxy Footnote 20.

One UI 3.0 Beta brings a number of new features and improvements, such as a screen lock widget, Always-on display, the ability to customize the call screen, the ability to quickly delete duplicate contacts, the ability to edit multiple linked contacts at once, the trash for storing recently deleted messages, better automatic camera focus and image stabilization or improved Samsung Internet browser and Calendar and Reminder applications. Last but not least, weekly trends and separate profiles for work and personal profiles have been added to the Digital Wellbeing app.
