Samsung has launched a tablet with which you don't have to be afraid to go even into challenging terrain. News Galaxy The Tab Active 3 has been equipped with a durable case, thanks to which it can survive a fall from a height of up to 1,5 m (but it should survive a fall even without it, from a height of 1,2 m), IP68 degree of protection and waterproof S Pen.

The tablet received an 8-inch LCD display in the bottle, which is designed to be used with gloves on. It is powered by the Exynos 9810 chipset (the same one used by smartphones Galaxy S9 to Notes 9), which is complemented by 4 GB of operating memory and 64 or 128 GB of expandable internal memory.

The equipment includes a 13MP rear camera, a 5MP selfie camera and a fingerprint reader. The battery has a capacity of 5050 mAh and is replaceable (it can also be charged in docking stations with pogo pins). In terms of software, the tablet is built on Androidu 10 and supports DeX desktop mode.

The South Korean tech giant promises that the novelty (along with a durable phone Galaxy Xcover Pro) will receive three major system updates over time, which is an important aspect for business customers as they typically use the device longer than individual customers.

Galaxy The Active Tab 3 is already on sale in selected countries in Europe and Asia. Availability in other regions of the world is to be announced at a later date. There is both a version with Wi-Fi (supporting the Wi-Fi 6 standard) and a variant with LTE. Samsung did not disclose the price.
