Samsung has had a series of fiascos Notes 7 very careful in increasing the capacity and charging speed of batteries in their devices. Many users of products from the workshop of the South Korean technology giant do not like this approach. Now, however, it looks like it could be flashing to "better times."

According to SamMobile, Samsung is probably working on its fastest charging adapter yet. It bears the model designation EP-TA865 and should support up to 65W charging. Until now, we could "only" encounter 45W charging with the devices of the South Korean company, and that for models Galaxy Note 10+ or S20 Ultra. And on what basis is it believed that we will see a completely new charger? The model designation of the already mentioned Note 10+ charging adapter was EP-TA845, so the last two digits corresponded to the charging speed. Is history repeating itself now?

Chinese phone maker Oppo recently introduced 125W fast charging, so it's possible that Samsung wants to keep up at least a little and is actually preparing faster charging for its upcoming devices. However, it should be noted that the latest Note 20 phones only support 25W charging, so perhaps the South Korean company will completely abandon faster charging. It should not be surprising, the most controversial topic regarding high-speed charging is the faster degradation of battery cells and thus the reduction of their original capacity.

We could expect a new charging adapter already in the first quarter of next year. This period should also see the introduction of Samsung's new flagship - the series Galaxy S30 (also referred to as S21, the name is not certain for the time being, ed.), so the adept for the debut of super-fast charging is more than clear.
