A month ago we you informed about the launch of Premiere series projectors at Samsung's Life Unstoppable online event. However, we didn't know the availability or the price of this groundbreaking projector, but that is changing now.

The South Korean tech giant has posted the price of both models on its US website. The LSP7T projector, which creates an image with a diagonal of up to 120 inches (305 cm), is sold for $3 (approx. CZK 499,99). The LSP81T version, which projects a 000″ image (9 cm), is offered by Samsung for $130 (approx. CZK 330). A similar price list can also be expected in the Czech Republic, if this interesting gadget gets here. For now, the company from South Korea is keeping details about availability in the rest of the world to itself. However, it should be mentioned that more expensive products from the Samsung workshop have also appeared on our market, so there is a real chance that we will see the projector. Performance iPhone 12 however, the projector probably won't make it.

At similar prices, Samsung offers QLED 4K televisions, so why choose Premiere series projectors? Certainly the first reason is the size of the picture, probably few people could afford a TV with such a large screen. It is also related to a completely different experience of the spectacle, which is closer to that in the cinema. An indisputable advantage of the projector is also the fact that the television simply takes up more space. One could certainly argue that the projector has to be far from the wall to create a reasonably sized image. In the case of Premiere projectors, however, this is not the case, in order to see an image with a diagonal of 330 cm, it is enough to place the device only 238 mm from the wall. Probably the only area where a classic flat screen TV will have a slight edge is image brightness. We'll find out how the projectors will do on October 16, when orders start shipping.

Would you prefer a large image from a projector to a classic television? Would you be willing to pay a hefty sum for a projector? Let us know in the comments below the article.
