YouTube Premium users will be able to enjoy an additional benefit over users without a paid subscription. Google is moving its strategy of testing experimental "features" from a random selection of all users of the video service and voluntary beta testers to a premium opportunity, waiting behind the gate of paid access. In the premium section of the service, the box with the Labs section now lights up.

On personal computers, YouTube Premium does not yet allow access to experimental features.

In the past, YouTube's experiments have spawned a number of interesting app features. For example, let's call picture-in-picture playback on iOS. Now all experiments are moving under the heading of the Labs section in YouTube Premium. And the current selection of test functions of the application is also worth noting. Now Google is trying to bring to life features like watching and searching for videos directly on the phone's home screen (so far only for iOS) or searching for topics using voice, which now only works in the web version of the application.

The possibility to test experimental functions looks like a nice bonus for a service that removes all ads from the most popular video platform in the world for users for 179 kroner a month, allows content to be downloaded to their own device, minimizes uninterrupted playback and, last but not least, allows access to a large number of original programs. What do you think about the new service extension? You use YouTube Premium, or you just used the opportunity to try the service for a month and are no longer using it.
