The Fitbit Sense smartwatch was launched in August and one of its main attractions was the ECG function. However, it was disabled in the specialized application due to missing certificates. But that has now changed, and Fitbit's most advanced health watch has started receiving an update in the US, UK and Germany that makes EKG measurements available in the app.

According to the manufacturer, the function is almost 99% successful in detecting atrial fibrillation and provides 100% accurate heart rate measurement. In addition, the watch - thanks to the SpO2 sensor - allows you to measure the level of oxygen in the blood, and it also has an electrodermal activity sensor, which measures the level of sweat and provides correct information about the level of stress, and there is also a sensor that measures the temperature of the skin or the ability to monitor the menstrual cycle via the Fitbit application.

In addition to health functions, Fitbit Sense offers a weekly battery life, over 20 exercise modes, all-day activity monitoring, support for Google and Amazon voice assistants, support for mobile payments through the Fitbit Pay service, and last but not least, water resistance, built-in GPS or an always-on display mode.

The watch is already on sale in the US for $330, Europe has to wait another week. It will cost 330 euros (about 9 thousand crowns in conversion).

Let us remind you that watches can also measure ECG Apple Watch, Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 and Withings ScanWatch.
