This year, Samsung signed an exclusive marketing deal with the Korean boy band BTS. The K-pop band is enjoying massive fame all over the world, and the deal with the Korean electronics manufacturer has given it the opportunity to penetrate other markets not yet completely touched by K-pop. Samsung now reminds that it is not new to this form of cooperation with big pop culture icons. He has been working with various celebrities and brands for more than ten years.

So far, the collaboration with BTS has resulted in short video clips for Samsung where we can see the band members using Samsung phones, and a special BTS Samsung Edition Galaxy S20 Ultra+. But the Korean company offered similar editions as early as 2007, when it launched a pink variation of the Samsung B Phone, which did not bear the name of the singer Beyoncé. After the success of the film Avengers, the manufacturer obtained a license for the production of a special edition in 2013 Galaxy S6 Edge, blessed by Iron Man himself.

This year, Samsung joined forces with heroes from a galaxy far, far away and released a Star Wars edition Galaxy Note 10+, which he considers a great success. But the last few years are more marked by cooperation with k-pop bands. Before signing with BTS, Samsung collaborated with the girl group Blackpink. This gave birth to a special pink and black edition Galaxy A80. The Korean manufacturer is certainly not slacking off, and in the future it will have other interesting options for us, how to express our affection for a certain brand by choosing the right device.
