Upcoming update for the first Samsung Galaxy The Fold will bring a number of functions to the phone, which so far only its one-year-younger successor is proud of. The tuned Fold 2 was no longer an experiment, but a continuation of a relatively successful model. As such, it came with a number of features that make it easier for owners of the second Fold to use the device on a daily basis. Most of them take advantage of the unfolded phone and the resulting spacious 7,3-inch display. We do not yet know the date when the update will reach the phones.

The biggest news for owners of the first Fold is the ability to transfer the phone's desktop mode to the screen of a compatible TV. Wireless Dex makes it possible to turn a mobile phone into a full-fledged device for work. And to make the experience true to the work commitment of its users, the new first Fold can turn into a damn expensive touchpad. Samsung will also allow the launch of up to three applications on the display at the same time. The Fold offers a sufficient amount of space for this.

Other news concerns the photographic capabilities of the device. The first Fold will be equipped with Capture View mode, which will allow mobile photographers to view up to five different shots of one photo on the left side of the unfolded display. If you prefer more moving images, you will see improved analysis tools, video recording in a ratio of 21:9 and support for capturing at a speed of 24 frames per second on the first Fold. From the second Fold, the Single Take function will also look at the older device, which can advise the user which shot is the best when taking an image.
