Samsung phone Galaxy The Note 10 Lite has started receiving the October security patch update in Europe. Samsung is releasing it exactly ten days after it started rolling it out on "full-featured" models Galaxy Note 10 a Galaxy Note 10+.

The latest firmware update containing the October security patch is now available for Galaxy Note Lite in Spain. Apparently it's not available anywhere else at the moment (not even in Germany, where Samsung's flagship security patches are usually the first to appear), but as always it will roll out to other countries sooner or later.

New firmware update for Galaxy The Note 10 Lite carries version N770FXXU6CTJ2, and it's unclear at this point if it brings any new features beyond the latest security patch. But even if it didn't bring any, the October patch itself is a more than welcome addition. It addresses 21 vulnerabilities found in Samsung software, one of which could have been exploited to gain unauthorized access to content on SD cards and the Secure Folder application.
