EVOLVEO Hybrid Box T2 is a multifunctional device that combines a set-top box for the transition to DVB-T2 and a multimedia Android center for expanding the capabilities of the connected TV.

Nový EVOLVEO Hybrid Box T2 is the brand's answer I EVOLVE to user demand, which appeared in connection with the widespread transition to the new DVB-T2 broadcasting standard, when classic set-top boxes they provide "only" the receiver function of the new broadcast format and lack support for extended functions such as Video On Demand (VOD), media sharing using the DLNA service, Internet connection, managing your own video library, etc. EVOLVEO's new set-top function box adds the required functions and becomes multimedia at the same time universal player and receiver for most users on the current market. Emphasis is also placed on supporting the Czech and Slovak environments for easy operation and installation. The device contains a clean version Android version 9 Pie (AOSP) without add-ons. This allows both casual and power users to enjoy the advanced features, apps and streaming services available from the Google Play library.
The core of the device is a quad-core 64-bit 1,8 GHz ARM Cortex A53 processor, a Mali-450 MP 750 MHz graphics chip, 3 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory. The EVOLVEO Hybrid Box T2 can be connected to the Internet using dual WiFi 2,4/5,8 GHz, 802.11 b/g/n/ac or an Ethernet LAN network, or using an RJ45 connector with a speed of 100 Mbps. The HDMI 2.0 standard interface with HDR10+ support (backward compatible with older HDMI) is used for image output. For audio, users can use the optical audio output (SPDIF) connector. Peripherals or an external disk can be connected to the device using USB 3.0 or USB 2.0 ports (two USB ports in total). There is also a slot for a microSDHC/SDXC card. There is also support for Bluetooth 4.2

The EVOLVEO Hybrid Box T2 has a DVB-T/T2/C tuner that supports currently ending digital (DVB-T), emerging digital (DVB-T2) and cable (DVB-C) connections. Program debugging and control is handled by a dedicated application that is pre-installed in the device. It is possible to set the automatic launch of this application immediately after switching on. There are popular functions such as EPG (time recording support), automatic tuning and sorting of channels, TimeShift, parental lock, teletext, Czech subtitles and other functions.
The device is designed as fanless, which means completely silent operation without a fan with passive cooling. The dimensions of the device are 115 × 125 × 30 mm and its weight is 200 g.
