Samsung for flagship phones Galaxy The S20 started releasing another firmware update after a short time. The update, which is supposed to improve the camera, is currently available for download for users in Germany and the Netherlands. From there, it should reach other countries before long. It is somewhat strange that in the first mentioned country the update carries the firmware version G98xxXXU5BTJ3, while in the second it is G98xxXXU5BTJ1.

Unfortunately, as is Samsung's habit of late, we don't get any specific details in the release notes about what camera improvements the update brings. However, it is quite possible that it further improves its performance and stability. The update does not mention any other improvements or new features, so it appears to be "monothematic".

The South Korean technology giant is not letting its current top-of-the-range line out of sight even more than half a year after its release – the new update is already the fourth firmware update it has released for it in the last few weeks, and certainly not the last. As usual, it should soon (i.e. in the coming days or weeks) expand to other countries and be available for both LTE and 5G variants.

You can try installing the update on your phone by opening Settings, selecting Software Update, and tapping Download and Install.
