If you release four updates to a series of phones in just a few weeks, it's quite likely that the testing wasn't as thorough as it should have been, and as a result the update "breaks" something. And that's exactly what happened to users of Samsung's flagship phones Galaxy S20 in the Netherlands - their 4G connection stopped working on the KPN network due to the last update.

According to the ever-increasing reports on Samsung's community forum and other forums, the problem affects all KPN networks, including virtual connection providers such as SimYo, Budget Mobile or YouFone, and affects both LTE and 5G model variants Galaxy S20 (doesn't seem to apply to the model Galaxy S20 FE). The problem manifests itself in the fact that the phones cannot pick up the 4G network signal, and at the moment there is no other way to solve the problem than to go back to the previous firmware (you can download it from the archive of the SamMobile website, for example). However, as in all such cases, it is recommended to wait for an official fix from Samsung.

Since KPN is the leading wireless provider in the Netherlands, it can be expected that the tech giant is already actively working on a fix and will release it via a software update soon. However, he has not yet officially commented on the matter.
