Microsoft announced two months ago that it plans to expand its partnership with Samsung a little more. As part of this partnership, among other things, there should be a more intensive and deeper integration of selected Microsoft services with products, services and applications from Samsung. Samsung Notes and Samsung Reminders data will now be synchronized with OneNote, Outlook and ToDo applications as part of the collaboration between the two companies. Users can try out the sync options right now.

On the discussion server Reddit, the first feedback from users on the aforementioned synchronization function is beginning to appear. Discussers generally report that they started noticing cross-app synchronization after updating the Samsung Reminders app on their smartphones and tablets to the latest version. This version is marked 11.6.01.1000, according to available reports, synchronization is available for owners of smart mobile devices of the product line Galaxy. The mention of the possibility of synchronization is also found in the changelog - there is a specific mention of synchronization with the beta version of the ToDo application from Microsoft.

After users launch the new version of Samsung Reminders, they will be prompted to sync when they launch the app. After that, all you have to do is sign in to a functional Microsoft account and grant the appropriate permissions to the applications. Currently, only one single list from the Microsoft ToDo List app is available to sync. Unfortunately, it is not (yet) possible to synchronize image reminders. In the near future, users should also get the ability to sync tasks with Outlook and Microsoft Teams. Some users also report that they also got the ability to sync between Microsoft OneNote and Samsung Notes.
