Facebook announced on Monday that its users on Androidua on the website will offer the possibility to play certain games using streaming from the cloud, i.e. without the need to download them. However, according to the company itself, the new Facebook Gaming service will not bring any miracles. In an exceptionally sober statement, Facebook points out the limitations of the technology and asks users not to expect the same experience as when playing an application stored on the device. The service is intended to offer people the freedom to decide whether it is more convenient for them to download games or stream them without delays.

Facebook Gaming will initially be available only in certain states in the US. For cloud gaming, it is necessary to build the necessary server infrastructure, so it is logical that the service will not be immediately available to everyone in the world. In addition, Facebook takes the launch in the United States as a sharp test that will determine how Gaming will continue to develop. US players will initially have just five games available - Asphalt 9: Legends, Mobile Legends: Adventure, PGA Tour Golf Shootout, Solitaire: Arthur's Tale and WWE Supercard. Along with the full games, the company's official blog post adds that thanks to cloud gaming, new variations on game ads will come to the platforms - users will now be able to try them from the cloud directly in the ad.

For now, Facebook limits the service to users only Androidu, players on iOS they are unlucky. This seems to have something to do with Apple's stance on game streaming in general. The Apple company is apparently planning its own cloud service in the future and does not want to have any competition on its platforms when it is released.
