Samsung will soon start rolling out an update to its first flexible phone Galaxy The Fold will bring some of the popular features of the second generation Fold. Among others, the App Pair function or a new way of taking "selfies".

Perhaps the most interesting "tweak" that the update to the original Fold will bring is the App Pair function, which allows you to run up to three applications at once in the user's preferred split-screen layout. This means that if he wants to have, for example, Twitter open on one half and YouTube on the other, he can create shortcuts to launch these applications and set them up as he likes. In addition, it will be possible to arrange split screen windows horizontally.

Users will also be able to use the rear cameras to take selfie photos - Samsung calls this function Rear Cam Selfie and it will be used mainly for taking wide-angle "selfies". Speaking of the camera, the update will also bring Auto framing, Capture View Mode or Dual Preview functions.

The update will also allow users to connect the phone wirelessly to smart TVs that support Phone Screen Mirroring via the Samsung Dex icon in the quick settings panel. Once the device is connected, the user will be able to customize the second display as desired, using features such as screen zoom or different font sizes.

The last "trick" that the update brings is the ability to directly share the password of the Wi-Fi network to which the user is connected with (for him) trusted devices Galaxy in your vicinity. It will also be able to see the speed of nearby connections (very fast, fast, normal and slow).

Users in the US will start receiving the update next week, followed by other markets.
