As you may recall, shortly after the release of Samsung's "budget flagship". Galaxy S20 FE complaints from some users started to appear on various forums about the functioning of the touch screen (in particular, it was inaccurate recording of the touch). Since then, Samsung has released two updates that were supposed to solve the problems associated with it. While some have since reported that everything is working as it should, others - at least some - seem to be having problems.

The latest firmware update, labeled G78xxXXU1ATJ5, should have fixed the touchscreen issues for good, but according to the number of complaints on Reddit, it seems that quite a few users are still experiencing them, albeit not to such an extent. In particular, problems with multitouch, more precisely with two-finger image enlargement, as well as jerky interface animations are likely to persist.

Naturally, users on the aforementioned Reddit and elsewhere are asking when the South Korean tech giant will fix these user experience-degrading issues once and for all. Some believe that Samsung is trying to fix what is actually a hardware problem with software, while others are considering returning the phone, which is otherwise a "hit in the dark" for Samsung.

The company has not yet commented on the ongoing problems, however, it is likely that it is already working on the next software update that will (hopefully) permanently resolve them.
