In the last two years, Samsung has launched new wireless headphones along with its new flagship series. This year actually two - a row Galaxy The S20 was accompanied by headphones Galaxy Buds+ and series Galaxy Note 20 then headphones Galaxy Buds Live. It is more than likely that Samsung intends to release new "wireless" alongside the upcoming flagship series Galaxy S21 (S30). Now, a new trademark has hit the airwaves, suggesting that they'll be choosing a different name for them this time around - namely Buds Beyond.

The trademark application for the name Buds Beyond was filed with the European Union Intellectual Property Office on Thursday and includes the same use cases as the previous Buds headphones.

Nothing else is known about the new headphones at this time. So we can only speculate if it will only be an improved version Galaxy Buds+, or it will be completely new headphones with features like active noise cancellation.

Samsung has released new earphones alongside new flagship smartphones in the past two years, so it's reasonable to expect them to do the same with Buds Beyond and the upcoming flagship line Galaxy S21 (S30). According to current unofficial reports, the new series will be launched on beginning of January next year (previous speculations already talked about December this year, but that seems very unlikely).
