Selected variants of Samsung's flexible phone Galaxy The Fold 2 has already started receiving the November security update. What's unusual is that this happens only a week and a half after the device has been hit with this month's security update.

The 350MB update carries the firmware designation F916BXXU1BTJB, which confirms that it targets the SM-F916B model aka Galaxy Z Fold 2. At the moment, it is not clear what new features it brings in terms of security, or what bugs it fixes, as Samsung has not yet released an official changelog for it (however, it can be expected that it will do so in the coming days).

The update is dated November 1st, making Samsung's latest foldable phone the first androiddevice receiving it. Let us remind you that the October update started on Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 was released on October 21st, so the new one headed for him in an unusually short period of time. The October security update was one of the most important this year, as it fixed five critical security flaws Androidua over two dozen vulnerabilities found in the tech giant's software, one of which hackers could have exploited to gain access to Secure Folder user content and SD cards.

Users in the Netherlands are apparently getting the latest update now, and it's not clear when it will roll out to other countries.
