Although the software found its support in the community, the competition, including from the South Korean giant itself, finally overwhelmed the application, and the company has no choice but to cut it off for good. After all, it is not about the first adept to a similar fate. For example, the MirrorLink and Play applications also did the sameGalaxy, S Voice or Find My Car.

Specifically, Samsung informed users about its plans through a short message, where it thanked them for their loyalty and announced the end of support on December 1 of this year. All collected informace so they will be permanently deleted on this day, so users don't have to worry about Samsung continuing to collect their valuable data. Either way, luckily there's still a convenient and somewhat more widespread alternative in the form of the beloved and hated Bixby, which will gladly translate anything you need. After all, Samsung wants to focus on the smart assistant and use artificial intelligence to enhance not only its translation capabilities, but also its speech recognition. Furthermore, the S Translator app offered translation between only 11 languages, which handily beats most other competitors. We'll see if it does Samsung eventually pulls out and will one day be able to boldly compete with such giants as Google Translate.
